I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Writing your own blog
Maintaining your own blog is another activity that can make you a better software architect. Writing about technical topics can make you more familiar with them. Taking the opportunity to learn about something that you have been wanting to know more about and then writing about it can help to reinforce what you have learned. It provides a forum to demonstrate what you know.
It is beneficial to share your knowledge with other software development professionals. Informing others about a subject and knowing that it can potentially help them is a rewarding endeavor. Unlike a tweet or other type of social media post, a well-written article can remain visible and useful for a long time.
