Remove (or retire)
When taking into consideration a particular application, one option is to simply remove it. Some applications that an organization is hosting might not even be needed anymore, but have been kept running. If your organization is undergoing an overall migration to the cloud for a number of applications and services, this is an ideal time to evaluate your current applications. You may be able to identify some that no longer need to be kept available.
