Law VIII – Feedback system

Software evolution is a complex process and requires feedback from a variety of stakeholders to ensure that the proper changes are being made and that the software evolves in a direction that yields noticeable and useful improvement.

Processes should be put into place so that feedback can be received and properly analyzed. Once that is done, appropriate action must be taken to incorporate the feedback into the system. To evolve the system properly, changes must be made to it based on feedback to ensure that the system continues to be useful.
