Daily stand-up meetings

If you are going to adopt an Agile software-development methodology, a common practice that you should consider implementing on your team is the daily stand-up meeting. If you are following the Scrum framework, this meeting is known as the daily scrum. It is a brief meeting, typically held toward the beginning of the day, in which everyone on the team provides a status update.

A facilitator typically runs the meeting, and this role should be rotated on a regular basis. There shouldn't be a reliance on any single facilitator. This also keeps the team talking with each other, which is the purpose of the meeting, and not just to a single facilitator.
