Application architect
Application architects focus on one or more applications and their architecture. They ensure that the requirements for their application are satisfied by the design of that application. They may serve as a liaison between the technical and non-technical staff working on an application.
Most of the time, application architects are involved in all the steps in the software development process. They may recommend solutions or technologies for an application, and evaluate alternative approaches to problems. Individuals in this role need to keep up with trends and new technologies.
