Summary

Software applications today have expectations and requirements that are different from the past. There are demands for greater availability, flexibility, fault tolerance, scalability, and reliability. Continuous delivery and ease of deployment may be requirements for organizations that want to increase their agility in order to keep their software applications closely aligned with their business goals and market opportunities.
