So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
DevOps practices
There is variation depending on the organization and the software development methodology used, but in a DevOps release cycle, the following major activities generally take place:
- Development
- Integration
- Build and unit testing
- Delivery to staging
- Acceptance testing
- Deployment to production
