Measurement

Teams must be able to measure improvement because if they cannot measure it, they cannot know whether process improvements, automation, and the introduction of other DevOps practices have actually worked. As a software architect, you need to be able to make decisions based on data that has been measured and not just your gut feeling. The data that is measured should be transparent and shared with the development team, operations, and other key decision makers within the organization.
