I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Trying new technologies
Good software architects care about their craft and enjoy trying out new technologies and techniques. This does not necessarily mean that you need to be an early adopter of new technologies in your applications but it is important to have an understanding of trending technologies.
Software architects should learn a new technology, framework, language, tool, or other technology so that they understand the situations in which these should be applied. The more technologies you are familiar with, the greater the number of tools you have at your disposal.
