3ds Max Animation with Biped

Files

3ds Max comes with a number of meshes, available on the DVD.

Numerous BIP files come with Character Studio. You’ll find them on the 3ds Max DVD in the following folders:

• \Samples\Motions\Bip\

  This folder contains 19 subfolders that have categories of BIP files such as Dance, Fight, March,and so on.

• \tutorials\character animation

  The 3ds Max tutorials subdirectories contain many BIP files.

Note

3ds Max 8 ships on a single DVD. The Character Studio BIP files are on the DVD, but they do not install when you install 3ds Max. You’ll have to manually copy them to your local hard drive.
