Exercise 6.3. Changing Jump Height

In this exercise, you’ll adjust the GravAccel parameter to change the height of the biped’s jump.

1.
Load the file JUMP.MAX from the Chapter 5 folder on the CD, and play the animation. The biped jumps three times over the course of the animation.

2.
Move the time slider to an area of the animation where the biped is airborne.
3.
Expand the Dynamics & Adaptation rollout.
4.
Write the GravAccel value down on a piece of paper. The GravAccel value is calculated based on the biped’s height. Notice that the value for this biped is 733.559. For your own bipeds, it will be different.
