Exercise 5.4. Dancing Gymnast
In this exercise, you’ll put together everything you’ve learned so far to create a unique dance for the gymnast.
1. | Load the file gymnast_no_anim.max from the CD that comes with this book.
Let’s create some new footsteps for the gymnast.

2. | Select any part of the biped. On the Motion panel, click
Footstep Mode.

3. | In the Footstep Creation rollout, make sure the Walk gait is selected, and click Create Multiple Footsteps. In the Create Multiple Footsteps dialog, set Number of Footsteps to 8, then click OK to exit the dialog.
