Using Motion Flow with Crowds

If you want to create a scene with bipeds walking or running about, you’ll need to prevent them from bumping into one another. In this case, you should use Motion Flow in conjunction with Character Studio’s Crowd tools. With the Crowd features, you can animate large groups of bipeds moving about, while at the same time preventing them from colliding and regulating where they go.

Note

A strong knowledge of both Motion Flow (see Chapter 10) and Crowd principles (Chapters 11 and 12) is required in order to set up this type of crowd scene, particularly the concepts of random script generation.
