Motion flow is an animation technique that uses two or more motion files in sequence to produce one animation. Character Studio’s Motion Flow feature takes short motion sequences and creates transitions between them to create a longer sequence, or script. With the Motion Flow tools, you can control when each transition takes place, and how long it lasts.
You can create two types of motion flow: straight-ahead or random. With straight-ahead motion flow, you set up the clips in the script in the exact order you would like them to occur.
