Exercise 5.1. Looking at Footstep Keys

This is a quick exercise to help you understand how footstep keys are represented in the Dope Sheet, and their relationship to biped motion.

1.
Load the file mybipedwalk.max that you created in Chapter 4, or load Walk.max from the CD that comes with this book.
2.
Select a biped body part and go to the Motion panel, and click Footstep Mode to turn it on.
3.
Select the Bip01 object in the viewport, right-click and pick Dope Sheet to open the Track View - Dope Sheet window.
4.
On the Dope Sheet toolbar, click Edit Keys if it’s not already highlighted.
5.
In the Dope Sheet left panel, scroll down to the Objects ...
