I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Glossary
- Active Processing
A psychological principle stating that learning occurs when people engage in appropriate mental processing during learning, such as attending to relevant materials, responding to practice exercises, reflecting on examples.
- Adaptive Control
A process in which learners are directed or branched to different instructional materials in a lesson based on the program's evaluation of their responses to lesson exercises.
- Advance Organizer
A device placed in the start of a learning event designed to provide an overview or big picture of the lesson content. May take the form of a graphic or table.
