Element 8: Business architecture

All the components of any future state must support one another and work toward the business goals and objectives. The overall desired future state of the organization as a whole must be considered as part of the definition of the desired future state of any individual initiative or solution.

For example, let's say that the desired future state of an organization is to have all staff members work remotely to reduce the need for maintaining a large physical office building.
