I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Purpose
According to the BABOK® v3 guide, the purpose of the Assess Risks task is the following:
"to understand the undesirable consequences of internal and external forces on the enterprise during a transition to, or once in, the future state. An understanding of the potential impact of those forces can be used to make a recommendation about a course of action."
What is the definition of risk? The BABOK® v3 Guide definition is as follows: "Risk is the effect of uncertainty on the value of the change, a solution, or the enterprise."
