I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

In this chapter, you learned that the part of the guide dealing with underlying competencies describes a certain set of characteristics, behaviors, skills, and knowledge that is believed to be part of a successful and effective business analyst’s profile. You also now learned that a large portion of the BABOK® v3.0 Guide's content has been dedicated to describing a wide range of different analysis techniques, which can be applied in different situations. You also learned about the common perspectives or contexts that business analysis is most often performed in and that these are described in the guide as well.
