So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Purpose
According to the BABOK® v3 guide, the purpose of the Assess Requirements Changes task is this:
"to evaluate the implications of proposed changes to requirements and designs".
Ultimately the business analyst must determine whether a change that is being proposed to a requirement will increase the value of the overall solution. If it will increase the value, it is important to then determine what action should be taken to make this happen.
Let's consider a practical example to understand this task further:
