Element 8: External influences

There are external influences on the organization that could impact the change by introducing constraints, dependencies, or other drivers that affect the current state. Some of these sources of external influences come from the following areas:

• Industry structure
• Competitors
• Customers
• Suppliers
• The political and regulatory environment
• Technology
• Macroeconomic factors

Let's consider some of these factors in the context of the example of the vehicle repair company by asking some target questions:
