The term "plan" describes tasks to be performed, resources and materials required to execute the tasks, any dependencies and sequencing of tasks, as well as dates and expected outcomes. It also outlines the stakeholders involved in executing the plan successfully.
An example of a plan could simply be the project plan for the implementation of a customer relationship management solution.
