I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Techniques for the exam
As you know, there are many analysis techniques that are applicable to many different contexts and scenarios of business analysis. It is quite a vast topic area and so it can be quite challenging to prepare for the CCBA®/CBAP® exam.
There are a few things to keep in mind in terms of technique when preparing for the exam:
- You don't necessarily have to be proficient in using every technique but it is essential that you understand the purpose of each technique and have a good understanding of what the elements of each technique are. You should be able to tell someone what the technique is, why you use it, and when it should be used.
