Please note that due to security restrictions, embedding the Google Talk gadget into a web page works with
many but not all browsers. Internet Explorer 7, for instance, may not allow users to sign in to the gadget if it’s
included on your blog or other web page.
But wouldn’t it be nice to take control over the gadget design as well? Creating a user stylesheet
might come in handy here, though (interestingly enough) this will not work with the
online version of Google Talk, but it will work with the desktop variant. The reason is that the gadget
version of Google Talk actually uses the Flash plug-in instead of being a plain web page, whereas the
desktop version of Talk uses HTML and JavaScript to display its contents. Google Talk desktop also
comes with a set of predened themes. To nd out more about hacking
