The WordPress blog post editor
Clarify your point by being precise and adding details. Sometimes, this even means stating what
may be obvious to you. Otherwise, the in-joke of the day may not be understood by readers—
perhaps not even yourself!—some years ahead.
Use a spellchecker program for your posts. This way, they become more readable. This is
especially useful if you convert the blog articles to a book chapter; though people may be used to
one or two spelling errors in a blog post, we usually expect a much lower frequency in books.
Write about a single topic or set of topics. Over time, this will turn you into an expert in that eld,
rendering your articles all that more valuable (we all like expert advice). Also, this will make it
easier to turn your blog into a book, as the book will now have a single theme.
Use self-explanatory, precise titles for your posts. Otherwise, you might have a hard time digging
through your archive to nd material for your book.
