It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

There are many more personalized home page tools out there than just iGoogle.com, with different
feature sets and styles.
From France comes a service called Netvibes, which you can nd at http://netvibes.com. As you can
see from their home page, as pictured in Figure 6-24, Netvibes arrives chock-full of handy gadgets
in their default mix. They’ve got everything from weather information to email wizards, web search
utilities, sticky notes, and news items from different providers.
You can get a rst taste of Netvibes without registering. However to keep your settings and the
content you added from its widget directory—called “Ecosystem” in Netvibes—you need to register.
Registering requires only your email address and a password of your choice.

Pageakes describes their service as “your home page with your favorite news, weather, sports,
entertainment, photos, videos, music, email . . . and much more, all in one place.” When you get
started with them at http://pageakes.com, a wizard dialog lets you pick some topics of choice, like
news, sports, music, food, gossip, and more. You can also provide your location.
