Don’t beat about the bush—not even when linking to video
content.
Demetrius is a blogger who regularly points to video content. Today he wants to link to a longer
Google Video, which he found using the advanced search options at http://video.google.com/
videoadvancedsearch (he restricted results to documentaries with a duration of over 20 minutes).
But his blog post discusses only the revealing bit into the twelfth minute of the video, and Demetrius
would like to send his visitors straight to that part, too.
Lucky for Demetrius—and you, if you want to point to a specic position within a Google Video—
Google offers a feature to achieve this. A normal Google Video URL looks like the following:

Play the movie until the part you want to point to, and check the minutes and seconds shown in the
