Feed reader Bloglines offers an export function to the left side

Display the number of unread Reader items in your browser status
bar. It’s the fastest way—hands down—to catch the latest news.
You can check Google Reader for new items by just visiting it at http://reader.google.com—or, if
you’re using the Firefox browser, you can install a little notier to tell you how many new items are
waiting for you.
To get this add-on, point Firefox to https://addons.mozilla.org/refox/3977 and click the Install
Now button. After installation, you are required to restart your browser. When you do this, an
options dialog from the new Notier extension will greet you, as shown in Figure 8-9. If you trust this
extension’s author and are condent that he will keep your information private, you can now provide
your Google Account username and password. You can leave the other options set to their default
values for now and conrm the dialog by hitting the OK button.

