Another to-do list add-on for Google Calendar is offered by the web site Remember the Milk. To
use this widget, you must rst sign up with the free service at http://rememberthemilk.com. Click
the Signup button, provide your information, conrm the registration email that you receive, and
you’re set. You can nd the widget by clicking Remember the Milk’s Help link or going directly to
http://rememberthemilk.com/services/googlecalendar/. Now, add the Remember the Milk widget
by clicking the Google Calendar button, as shown in Figure 7-10.
Before you sign up for Remember the Milk, you might want to install Google Gears . That’s because
Remember the Milk can use Google Gears to store information locally so you will be able to use it ofine.
Now you will nd a special check mark icon on top of each day in Google Calendar. Click this icon,
and a dialog like the one shown in Figure 7-11 opens. In this dialog you can click the “+” icon next
to the Today label and dene a new task. Next time you log in to Google Calendar, this task is
still visible. Once the task is nished, you can click its arrow icon and select Complete. To get an
overview of all your items, you may also want to log in to the Remember the Milk home page itself.
