- DISGUISE YOUR PICASA IDENTITY

Change your Picasa address, and add another login name to your
Google account at the same time.
When your Google username is your real name—such as JaneAnnDoe1980@gmail.com—then your
Picasa Web Album addresses will be along this format, including that name:
http://picasaweb.google.com/JaneAnnDoe1980/MiscellaneousPics
However, there may be times when you want to share pictures of your album without revealing
your full name (or your birth year, for that matter). Picasa already allows you to select a
nickname different from your Google name for display on album pages. But the URL, as shown
in the example, is still a giveaway.
But there’s help, as Romanian Google watcher Ionut Alex. Chitu discovered on his independent blog
Google Operating System (http://googlesystem.blogspot.com). First, login to Picasa Web Albums at
http://picasaweb.google.com. Click Settings on top. In the section titled Gallery URL, there’s a link
to the righthand side reading “Want to add a new Google user name?” as pictured in Figure 9-24.
