Expand your toolbox.
When using SketchUp, you can display a variety of tool windows. For instance, you can enable the
Shadow Settings window by picking Window→Shadows from the menu. You can also enable a larger
tool bar by selecting View→Toolbars→Large tool set (on Mac, View→Tool Palettes→Large tool set).
Another option to display more features is available in the preferences dialog. Choose Window→
Preferences (on Mac, SketchUp→Preferences). Now switch to the Extensions tab via the lefthand
pane, as shown in Figure 11-18, and mark Utilities Tools and Sandbox Tools. Press OK (on the Mac,
close the dialog box) and you will now have more options, such as the editing of organic terrain
shapes. Figure 11-19 shows SketchUp with all these advanced tools enabled.
