So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Google Analytics AIR, also called Analytics Reporting Suite, is a
third-party desktop program that visualizes your Google Analytics
numbers in quite a different way.
To run Google Analytics AIR, you rst need to install AIR, short for Adobe Integrated Runtime. AIR is
a framework for creating desktop apps using Flash, HTML, and other technologies, and it’s available
on different platforms. Download the (currently 11 MB) installation from http://get.adobe.com/air/
and run it. (A hat tip to Siggi Becker for pointing out this hack.)

Installing the Analytics Reporting Suite
Now that AIR is installed, download Google Analytics AIR from http://aboutnico.be/index.php/
downloads/. There are multiple versions to pick from; I’m using Beta 3, because it’s made for the
version of AIR that I just downloaded. The le may end up as download.php on your system; rename
it to google-analytics.air. Thanks to this new extension, you can now launch the program like you’d
launch other progr ...
