by dragging and dropping a link from that page into the note; in similar fashion, you can also copy
text found on any page.
Also, on Google search result pages, you will now nd a link reading “Note this” below snippets,
as shown in Figure 2-12. Click it and the link turns into a “Duly noted” message, and a Notebook
window pops up adding the result link and snippet as a new note (on Google results pages, this
works even when you don’t have the Notebook browser extension installed).
To share your notes with friends, family, or other members of your team, select your notebook
on the Notebook home page and click the “Sharing options” link on top. You can then invite
collaborators by listing their emails one by one (comma-separated) and clicking the “Save Settings”
button. (Note that people you invite do not need the Notebook browser extension, though they
do need a Google Account to sign in.) Jane, the user I’ve invited in Figure 2-13, will now receive an
invitation email and can then edit along in the same notebook, at the same time I do. After a short
