Rather than toggling the global comments settings for your blog, you can also simply disable
the comments for a single blog posting. Ionut Alex. Chitu, who has a popular blog on Google
at http://googlesystem.blogspot.com, says, “If an old post gets more than three to four spam
messages in a day, I disable the comments for that post temporarily.”
Here’s how you can disable comments for a specic older post of yours. Log in to Blogger.com, nd
your blog on the dashboard, then click the Posts link that appears next to the “Manage:” prompt.
Locate the post in question and click the Edit link to its left. Expand the settings for the post via the
Post Options link below it, as shown in Figure 10-14, and switch to “Don’t allow, show existing.” After
hitting the Publish Post button, your change will be active.
