INTRODUCTION

ommunications are means by which a sender attempts to inform, per-
suade, and remind about something for which a direct or indirect response
or change is intended. Franchisors are in constant communication with fran-
chisees and vice versa. On the other hand, franchisees are in constant com-
munication with consumers, informing about the products or services they
are offering. For profi tability communications are extremely important. For
a well-developed concept, efforts to make a product exceptional or spending
