LDAP.ORA

LDAP.ORA is a configuration file on a client machine that is used to point to the LDAP server used for net service names. LDAP.ORA is used when you are storing network service configuration in an LDAP directory instead of using the local method with TNSNAMES.ORA.

Because most of the network information is stored in the LDAP directory, the LDAP.ORA file is fairly concise. The LDAP.ORA file is normally created by the Oracle Net Configuration Assistant utility, and Oracle suggests not modifying it.
