INTERVAL 'int1[-int2]' YEAR | MONTH [int_precision] [TO MONTH]
Translates literal integers representing years, months, or years and months into an interval of time. This function may have one or two units of time. If two units are specified, the first unit must be greater than the second, as in INTERVAL ... YEAR TO MONTH. New with Oracle9i.
You can use the INTERVAL functions to perform date arithmetic, as shown in the “Examples” section of the preceding INTERVAL DAY TO SECOND entry.
