Initializes the random number generator with the value of seed, which should be at least five digits in length.

FUNCTION DBMS_RANDOM.RANDOM RETURN BINARY_INTEGER;

Returns a random integer value from the random number generator.

PROCEDURE DBMS_RANDOM.SEED (seed IN BINARY_INTEGER);

Changes the random number generator’s seed value to seed, which should be at least five digits in length.

PROCEDURE DBMS_RANDOM.TERMINATE;

Releases resources used by the random number generator when no longer needed.
