Name

ROLLBACK_SEGMENTS

Synopsis

Value: comma-separated list of rollback segment names (except SYSTEM)

Default: NULL

Specifies one or more rollback segments to allocate by name to this instance. If this parameter is set, an instance acquires all of the rollback segments named in this parameter, even if the number of rollback segments exceeds the minimum number required by the instance (calculated from the ratio TRANSACTIONS / TRANSACTIONS_PER_ROLLBACK_SEGMENT). You can also specify public rollback segments if they are not already in use. If this parameter is not set, the instance uses all public rollback segments by default. Multiple instances must have their own rollback segments.
