PARALLEL_THREADS_PER_CPU
Value: 0-unlimited
Default: usually 2
Dynamic: ALTER SYSTEM
Specifies the default degree of parallelism for the instance and represents the number of parallel execution processes that a CPU can handle during parallel execution or in a multiple instance environment. In general, you should reduce the value if the machine appears to be overloaded when a typical parallel operation is executed, and you should increase it if the system is I/O-bound.
