IPython
シェルの起動
本書の他の章と同様に、この章も読むためだけのものではありません。取り上げたプログラムを
入力してツールを実行しいろいろ試すことをお勧めします。体が覚えた記憶は単に読書で得られた
知識よりもずっと役に立つものとなります。
IPython
インタープリタを起動するには、コマンドラ
インから
ipython
コマンドを実行します。もし、
Anaconda
や
EPD
（
Enthought Python Distrib
ution
）
などのディストリビューションを使っているならば、対応する
OS
向けの起動手段が用意されてい
るはずです（「1.2 IPython のヘルプシステムとドキュメント」で、詳細に説明します）。
IPython
が起動すると、次のようなプロンプトが表示されます（バージョンによって異なる可能
性があります）。
