Installing httpd (Apache) on CentOS

As the title suggests, CentOS re-badges the Apache HTTP Server as httpd, I suspect to genericise the product for ease of understanding (though I've met a fair amount of system administrators who dislike this re-badge, including me).

Install httpd like so:

$ sudo yum install httpd -y

Now let's start it, since this is CentOS:

$ sudo systemctl enable --now httpd

As we forwarded ports when we logged into our Vagrant boxes, we should now be able to navigate to our forwarded address and port (http://127.0.0.1:8080) in our local browser:
