We're going to create a container without using the most popular tool on the market.
Containers utilize certain kernel features (namespaces and cgroups), which means that they're not strictly portable to the Windows and Macs of the world.
First, we're going to create a storage pool for our containers to use:
$ sudo lxc storage create example-pool dir
Next, we're going to start a container with this pool:
$ sudo lxc launch ubuntu:18.04 example-container -s example-poolCreating exampleRetrieving image: rootfs: 31% (1.63MB/s)
