If your system does fail to boot, following a change to fstab or one to your systemd-mount files, then the next step (beyond panic) is to log in to the console of your server. In this case, we do this by connecting to the VirtualBox window and connecting to the graphical representation of our console session, before booting into single user mode.

You would then remove the offending line from your configuration and reboot your system once more.
