Getting ready

For this section, we're going to use our centos1 and debian1 VMs.

All of the programs we look at will be universally available in one form or another.

SSH to your centos1 VM, and ensure that the EPEL repository is enabled:

$ vagrant ssh centos1$ sudo yum install epel-release -y$ sudo yum install htop -y

SSH to your debian1 VM, very specifically, forwarding port 19999 to your local machine (more on this later):

$ vagrant ssh debian1 -- -L 127.0.0.1:19999:127.0.0.1:19999
