Again, it generally doesn't work.

Filesystems are a deep and interesting topic, for a very dedicated and specific kind of people. I've met storage engineers who could talk for hours about the different filesystems on offer and why you shouldn't bother using ext2 as a /boot partition these days, simply because the trade-offs aren't there, or who drone on about the selective merit of using just a bunch of disk (JBOD) deployments versus traditional SANs.

Once again, I'll point out that there are use cases for every type of filesystem on offer, even WikipediaFS, and that's okay! Just be safe in the knowledge that the options are there, if you need them.
