In this section, we're going to use our CentOS VM, mostly because Postfix is installed by default on CentOS boxes.
Log on to your CentOS box and make sure that Postfix is running:
$ vagrant ssh centos1$ systemctl status postfix● postfix.service - Postfix Mail Transport Agent Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/postfix.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled) Active: active (running) since Sun 2018-12-02 11:35:12 UTC; 21h ago Main PID: 1125 (master) CGroup: /system.slice/postfix.service ├─ 1125 /usr/libexec/postfix/master -w ├─ 1129 qmgr -l -t unix -u └─10453 pickup -l -t unix -u
If it's not installed and not running, you can simply install the postfix package:
$ sudo yum install postfix -y
