IaaS providers and features

The biggest provider of IaaS services at the moment is Amazon, with their Amazon Web Services (AWS) offering. It might seem a bit strange that an online retailer is also the biggest supplier of cloud solutions, but when you consider the infrastructure they would have had to design and build for their own platform, it makes sense that they would see their way to selling it as a service.

AWS is well supported by IaC tools such as Terraform and Packer, being a first class citizen, and it also features tools of its own, such as CloudFormation (like Terraform).
