Getting ready

In this section, we're going to use our CentOS VM again.

SSH to your CentOS machine:

$ vagrant ssh centos1

Install the EPEL repository, and then MongoDB:

$ sudo yum install epel-release -y$ sudo yum install redis -y

Again, we're using EPEL for convenience, but more up-to-date offerings are out there, and one of the most preferred ways of running Redis is in Docker containers.
