You might have noticed a lot of options that we didn't use here, and QEMU's system tools are capable of quite a lot. Typically, people don't build VMs using QEMU directly – they rely on shinier and more user-friendly tools to do the job for them.
On servers, Virsh is a good choice (covered later in this chapter) and, on desktop machines, Virtual Machine Manager (virt-manager) is a very commonly installed package that also lets you connect to remote (headless) servers to set up VMs using clicky buttons.
